Instadram MCP connector

The Instadram connector (47 tools, reads and writes) lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other Model Context Protocol (MCP) clients use your Instadram account. Ask about your shelf, search the bottle catalog, read community reviews, and browse other collectors' public shelves. If you allow it at sign-in, the assistant can also add and edit bottles, manage collections, and follow people for you.

Endpoint and sign-in

Server URL: https://api.instadram.me/mcp

Remote server, Streamable HTTP, JSON responses. Sign-in is OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and dynamic client registration, so you only paste the URL. Your client opens an Instadram sign-in page. You never paste a key or token. Revoke access any time from your client.

The consent page lists each permission. Read access is always included. AI research and every write permission can be unticked. If your client asks for no scopes, it gets read and AI research only.

Writes are confirmed

Every write tool works in two steps. The first call only returns a preview and a confirm token. Nothing changes until the assistant calls again with that token. Write tools are marked readOnlyHint false, and removals and deletes are marked destructiveHint true, so clients can ask you first. Free accounts keep the app's 25-bottle limit. Tools marked Pro need Instadram Pro.

Set up

Claude

Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Name it Instadram, paste https://api.instadram.me/mcp, then sign in.

ChatGPT

On ChatGPT web, go to Plugins, select the plus button, then Add custom MCP server. Paste https://api.instadram.me/mcp, choose OAuth, then sign in.

Cursor

Use Add to Cursor on instadram.me/connect, or add to ~/.cursor/mcp.json: { "mcpServers": { "instadram": { "url": "https://api.instadram.me/mcp" } } }. Cursor opens the sign-in page.

Other clients

Any MCP client with remote HTTP servers and OAuth works. Use the same URL.

Privacy

The connector never returns your email or billing details. Other people's data comes only from their public profile and shelf. Read the full privacy policy for how we handle data.
