Silver Grove Grand Reserve Straight Bourbon Whiskey Bottled in Bond
Distillery: New Riff Distilling
114 proof
Silver Grove Grand Reserve Straight Bourbon Whiskey is produced by New Riff Distilling in Newport, Kentucky, using a high-rye mash bill of 65% corn, 25% rye, and 10% malted barley. Distilled starting in 2014, this Bottled-in-Bond expression requires aging for at least four years in new charred American oak barrels at no more than 125 proof, then bottled at exactly 100 proof without chill-filtration or additives. Released as one of New Riff's inaugural products in 2019, it showcases the distillery's commitment to craft bourbon using traditional methods, including sweet mash and copper pot stills. The bourbon offers a balance of sweet corn-driven notes and spicy rye character, with rich oak influence from extended maturation. It's celebrated for its transparency, full proof strength, and approachability, making it a staple for bourbon enthusiasts seeking quality at an accessible price point.
