Godfather recipe
The Godfather is Scotch and amaretto over ice. The almond liqueur adds sweetness and a nutty finish.
- Spirit: Scotch
- Glass: Rocks glass

Ingredients
- 1.5 oz Scotch
- 0.75 oz Amaretto
Method
- Fill a rocks glass with ice.
- Add the Scotch and the amaretto.
- Stir gently for 10 seconds.
Tips
- Start with less amaretto. You can add more after the first sip.
- A Godfather made with bourbon is also good.
Best Scotch for the Godfather
Use a blended Scotch with some body. Peat and amaretto do not always agree, so try a bottle without heavy smoke first.
